Awesome God by Songs 4 Worship: Kids Review:
There were close to ten customers who wrote their thoughts on this album of Christian music for kids, and they gave it an average rating of 4.6 stars. The lowest score it received was 3.0 stars.
One of the buyers exclaimed about the need for more good music for kids in Christian homes, and he found this to fit the bill. Another reviewer was a Christian mom who felt that this album was definitely a refreshing change from the dull and drab Sunday-school songs, and described this as “really rockin’!” She added that most adults would likely enjoy it as much as the kids, and she liked how it was a fun way of encouraging kids to memorize Bible verses. Another reviewer was a dad who first heard the songs in this CD when he walked into their living room one day and saw his wife and two kids doing the dance steps and hand gestures for the song “Every Move I Make.” He was amazed at how much fun they were having, and he wound up listening to this CD plenty of times too himself, and enjoying it! He commented that this CD would definitely keep kids’ attention while giving adults an uplifting, upbeat, and enjoyable worship music experience. Other reviewers also commended this as a great addition to any worship music collection, with one of them sharing how he would play this for his 10-month-old son when it was time for the baby to go to bed at night, while others used this for Sunday school classes, all with great success.
Meanwhile, the lone reviewer who gave it a 3.0-star rating conceded that it was very good, but that they did not really listen to it all that much. Apparently, they did not like the kids’ voices, and the family apparently preferred adult voices on CDs with a fun beat to appeal to the whole family and not just the younger children. Of course, at the moment, she seemed to be alone in that observation, and perhaps it was an issue of personal preference for a choice of kids’ worship CD.
From these comments, we would be very happy to recommend this album of contemporary Christian music for kids.
